J was back in school today… passed his “8-3” math facts. He’s blowin’ the other kids away… by at least 15 levels! And this is with his allergy-absences and Ms. R skipping a few days of mad-minute testing because of time constraints. My kid’s incredible.
Still waiting on the principal to approve the newsletter… it’s flawless, I don’t think she’ll want/need to change a thing. If I don’t get an email back from her tonight, I’ll chase after her tomorrow morning and get the “OK” right then and there. Then off to printing and distributing so the kids can take it home to their parents for the long weekend. And I’m done with it for this school year!! To think I’m doing all this as a volunteer… at least the fabulous ladies in the lunchroom feed me for free =) lol. All this effort & frustration… God, I love my child.
My video-blog and podcast will be posted next week… just finishing creating my sub directory and final podcast recording. I have the most annoying voice… absolutely hate it. But, Maricar likes it (that is why she is my BFF), so that’s one person who won’t be tuning me out, hopefully… hahaha. Crossing my fingers that my audience will take a liking to them. I’m suddenly craving for sushi… da heck.
The most random, ironic thing. I just heard from D’s manager… who I’m almost positive was ex-sister-in-law’s ex-boyfriend. This guy is doing REALLY WELL… managing deejays and entertainers out here. So he wants to meet up, and I’m thinking after we fly back would be a good time to re/connect with everyone. Interesting that I’m back in touch with these Chi guys whom I haven’t seen in AGES, now that I’m here in Vegas. Then all the online marketers in the area… it’s crazy. But it’ll be great to get circulating like a normal person =)
Anyway, my genius son studied for his spelling test (another 100% as usual), reviewed his mad-minute, and now off to dreamy-land. He asked me as I was tucking him in – “Mommy, I’m going to dream about Legoland… can you please dream about it too so you can meet me there?” Wow.
*yawn*
Super busy day tomorrow, so gonna meet my son in Lego-dreamland now. Three-day weekend, right around the corner!
